About Sony Gym

What is Sony Gym in Adilabad?

Sony Gym is a fitness club operated by Sony Enterprises at NH 44, Vidya Nagar, Bhuktapur, Adilabad, Telangana 504001. It is a single-floor, equipment-mixed gym with a free-weight area, racks, a cardio floor, a functional corner and a mat area for yoga and mobility work. We train four kinds of people on the floor: beginners who have never lifted a barbell, members working on fat loss, people building strength, and district and state-level athletes who need speed, power and injury-prevention work.

Every new member starts with a free body composition and BMI assessment, and gets a written plan before their first session. Open Monday to Saturday from 9:30 AM to 8:30 PM and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Call or WhatsApp +91 93909 89002 to book the free session.

A gym built around a plan,
not a membership card

Most people quit a gym in the first two months, and almost always for the same reason: nobody told them what to do on a Wednesday. There was no programme, no progression and no way to tell whether anything was changing. Sony Gym was set up to remove exactly that gap. The assessment comes first, the plan is written down, and progress is reviewed against numbers you can see.

The floor is deliberately mixed. Beginners work beside athletes and senior citizens on scaled versions of the same movement, and every new member gets an orientation session covering equipment use, warm-up and safe form before touching anything heavy. If you have an injury or a long lay-off, tell the coach first — the plan changes, not the goal.

Why members choose us

Six things we do differently, and none of them cost extra.

Maintained equipment

Free weights, racks, cable stations and cardio machines checked and serviced weekly, so nothing is out of order when you want to lift.

Coached, not supervised

A coach watches every set in your first month, corrects your form, and only then increases the load. That order matters more than the weight on the bar.

Diet you can actually eat

Plans built from dal, rice, roti, vegetables and seasonal fruit, budgeted for a normal Adilabad household, reviewed every four to six weeks.

Six days a week

Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM to 8:30 PM, plus Sunday mornings. Early slots run from 6:30 AM for members on a shift schedule.

One plan, four goals

Fat loss, muscle gain, strength and return-from-injury all start from the same assessment and branch from there. No separate membership tier to buy.

Simple, flexible plans

Monthly, quarterly and annual membership, payable by cash, UPI or card. Memberships can be paused for medical reasons or travel.

What is on the floor

One hall, split into zones so a heavy squat session and a class can run at the same time.

Free weight area

Dumbbells up to rack pairs, benches, the six main barbell lifts and a platform area. Progressions are written in kilos, not in "feels hard".

Cardio floor

Treadmills, cross-trainers, rowers and cycles, positioned away from the racks so the noise stays down while you run intervals.

Mat and mobility area

Open floor for yoga, core work, warm-ups and mobility drills — the space used by the morning yoga class and the senior citizen programme.

Functional corner

Cable stations, sled and box work for athletic development, plus landmine and band work for shoulder and lower-back conditioning.

Assessment desk

Monthly weigh-in, waist measurement and body composition, recorded next to your strength numbers so progress is a figure rather than an opinion.

Changing and washroom

Lockers, drinking water and a filtered water point in the floor. Bring a towel and a small lock.

How a member's first month works

Four steps, the same for everyone who joins.

01

Assessment

Free body composition, BMI, waist measurement and a strength baseline on the six main lifts. About forty minutes.

02

Written plan

Your coach writes the programme and the target, in the order you will actually train through it. You keep a copy.

03

Orientation

Equipment handling, warm-up, spotting and how to scale each movement if it feels too much. Nothing heavy until this is done.

04

Review

Numbers are rechecked monthly and the plan is adjusted — load progressed, volume trimmed, or the diet corrected.
